WORLD AIDS DAY
2 Decemeber 2007, the first day of my service in ACTION FOR AIDS.
Ellis and I joined AFA and volunteered to help out in crowd control today at CK TANGS.
it was fun i have to say. We met tons of gay guys and i swear to god, they're seriously touchy.
a few guys actually touched me. *eeks*
i grimaced and squirmed not because i was touched by some gay guys but because they looked awful and they're old.
OLD I TELL YOU, OLD!! FUCKING HELL.
their ghastly looks were seriously frightening plus they're wrinkly hands kept harrassing innocent volunteers like yours truly.
and just so you know,
i can't stand ugly strangers touching me...
oh well, Ellis and I had our second lunch at PARAGON'S COFFE CLUB.

i ordered a baked chicken penne.

while Ellis got herself an apple crumble.

it's actually stewed apples topped with a melting vanilla ine cream and strawberries.
*it's mouthwatering*
and this is the medal Ellis got for taking part in the Standard Chartered Marathon this morning :)

the tags they gave us while we were on crowd control duty.

I TAKE PRIDE IN HELPING HIV POSITIVE PATIENTS.
they totally deserve our love and concern. they do not deserve stigmatization.
they are not conformed to being rediculed and ostracized.
and at the end of the day, they gave us FREEBIES
and all cheapos say YAY!
the goodie bag consisted of:
ONE NUM TANK TOP
ONE PAIR OF VERVE SUNGLASSES
A BOX OF CONDOMS BY LOVE-BOX
A POSTCARD DESIGNED BY AFA
A PIN BADGE DESIGNED BY AFA
it was given to us FREE while the public had to pay like 10 bucks for it.
But i assure you, it worths alot more!
yes, a picture of my beloved freebies.

M.A.C carrier to contain the goodies.

Love-Box's condoms.

lovely box for storing those condoms eh?

and yes, they contain pictures to instruct an illiterate individual on how to use it properly.
VERVE's sunglasses that comes with changeable lenses.

a very thoughful note from members of Action For Aids.

i love this pin badge. very creative i have to say.

NewUrbanMale's complimentary tank top.

and that's it for today. a most fruitful day i must say.
